La Evolución
EVOLUTION: Inspired by my work as a therapist, I wanted to make visible the often deeply private journey of personal evolution. How could we get close to, see, touch the process? How could we see our shared story outside of ourselves, stand together and witness the route to here, to you? We begin, we break, we bravely rebuild. The journey from order to disorder to reorder is a sacred pattern of transformation that mirrors both our soul’s evolution and our psyche’s unfolding.
Order is where we start — it’s our origin, our beginning, a time of clarity, structure, and belonging. It’s when we live within the frameworks that give us identity, belief, and stability. This stage offers safety and meaning, yet over time, it can become too small for our expansion.
Disorder arrives when that old structure begins to fall apart. This can look like crisis, confusion, loss, or disillusionment — a time when what once made sense no longer does. Though painful, disorder is necessary; it breaks open old patterns, allowing what’s no longer true to fall away. Disorder is the fertile chaos that makes transformation possible.
Out of this chaos arises reorder — not a return to the old, but a deeper, more spacious way of being. Here we integrate what was learned in the dark, weaving new wisdom, compassion, and truth into a renewed sense of self. Reorder carries both the grounding of order and the grit born from disorder.
This cycle is the rhythm of all living things — death and rebirth, contraction and expansion, loss and renewal. Spiritually and psychologically, it is how we grow, how we evolve, how we continue: by surrendering to the unraveling and trusting that life exists at every stage of the process.
