Unfortunately, no, we do not accept insurance. However, we can offer a superbill for out of network benefits and we also accept FSA and HSA cards.
What is a superbill? . . .
A superbill is a form you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement for out of network benefits.
Do you have brick and mortar locations as well? . . .
Yes, all three of us also have physical locations we practice from and are happy to see you in person if you are close by.
How does remote therapy work?. . .
Once you schedule your session, fill out the paper work and your apt is confirmed, your therapist will contact you at your scheduled time via the format you selected (phone call, FaceTime, Zoom, Skype, Theranest, etc.) Then, just like traditional therapy, we begin the work of building a therapeutic relationship, gaining insight and understanding into each other, working towards goal setting and change.
What is the difference between therapy and coaching? . . .
For our practice, all three of us are licensed therapists in California, which means we are licensed to engage in therapy within the state of California. Since the field of coaching is not regulated by the same board or principles, we engage in coaching relationships with people outside of California. The work is the same, the process is the same, the results are the same.
How do I know which therapist to choose? . . .
You can read about us, watch our video, listen to podcast interviews where we are being interviewed and then consider which therapist is right for you. We have a variety of approaches, specialties and interests, but are trained to work with everyone and everything. Consider what you are looking for and what you need in this season of your growth and then decide on the therapist that is right for you.
